HENRY AND MUDGE and the long Weekend

   Henry and his dog Mudge woke up a day. They looked outside. It was gray, cold, and muddy and wet. And they can't go around, so bored. Henry is bored, his father is bored, Mudge is bored, everyone is bored. 

 They are best friend and family. They like playing around and funny things. But today they can't go outside and play anything.

   "I have an idea," Henry's mother said. "Let's make a castle!" They headed for the basement. Mudge loved the basement. Henry ran upstairs for his castle book. Henry's mother ran upstairs for pencils. Henry's father ran upstairs for stapler. And Mudge ran upstairs for a quick snack. (120/1,199)
